Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, financial regulations, and company policies
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial processes and controls
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with external auditors for annual audits
- Provide financial guidance and support to management
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes
- Analyze financial data to inform business decisions and drive growth
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance industry or adjustment services
- Knowledge of financial planning and analysis
- Experience with project-based accounting and job costing
