Must be local to Austin, TX or willing to relocate from day 1 - requires some on site work as frequently, as needed, or desired for the entire assignment.

Responsibilities:
Define the development workflow processes for products which involve complex solutions for multiple development teams (geographically distributed) and complex configurations.
Advocate the methodology, Configuration and Support of the different ALM pillars
(Requirement Management, Architecture, Development, Deployment, Test Management and SWBI)
Define, architect, develop and deploy Ci/CD processes for supporting the product line Ci/CD pipelines (Jenkins/ Tekton)
Collaborate with different Ci/CD teams around the globe for streamlining work across groups.
Continuously improve and deploy new technologies to support the fast-paced business changes.
Administer the deployed services, provide support for various users.
Practice building solutions to scale and support growth.
Consult and Support the group engineers working methodologies, across the SDLC.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree
Minimum of 6 years of recent hands-on Devops experience, working in a team.
Hands-on expertise practicing CD using one of the commercial cloud providers
Practical Kubernetes working configuration and debugging experience
Knowledge in cross compiling build systems like maven /gradle /buildroot /android aosp build environments.
Extensive knowledge in bash, make, scripting languages, REST API.
Proven experience working with Jenkins or a similar CI tool
High level of Linux server administration skills
High level of verbal and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a global organization
Willing to travel abroad from time to time
Support of production deployment system in a commercial cloud - advantage

- We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team.
- This is a significant part of the ongoing transformation of vehicles from being mainly hardware-based to a software-centric electronic device on wheels.
- Ultifi is a new software platform that spans between the Vehicle, the Back Office and cloud services, providing a simple, yet highly scalable and capable framework for extending Vehicle services and applications.
- Ultifi is part of SDV - 'Software Defined Vehicle' group which is utilizing cutting-edge architecture in developing a new intelligent vehicle, whose features and functions are primarily enabled through software.
