Software Application Support Engineers

client needs to hire Software Application Support Engineers. Even candidates with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer or QA Automation titles would fit this job if they are willing to do support.

Required Skills:

• Strong LINUX/UNIX shell scripting background and fluent with text manipulation with SHELL, AWK, SED, GREP.
• Strong SQL skills on either Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase as they have all 3 database types .
• Must have coding automation skills with either Python, PERL, Unix shell scripting, C, C+ or Java
• Ability to read software code in either C, C++, Java, or C#. As the company has hundreds of applications written in different languages and they would like these support staff to at least do minor debugging of any software and explain the problems directly to the software engineers.
