What You'll Do
The Corporate Accounting Manager will support the Corporate Controller in managing and overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. The successful candidate will utilize core accounting skills and a continuous improvement mindset to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Accounting Operations
- Ownership of corporate general ledger and close process
- Responsible for the full-cycle month-end closing for corporate entities. Duties may include but are not limited to preparing and posting journal entries, intercompany, prepaids, bank reconciliations, preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly schedules.
- Partner with business leaders to manage department accruals.
- Maintain an understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Act as accounting lead for various Corporate managed areas including but not limited to: M&A activities, intercompany, leases, fixed assets, and intangibles.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare quarterly and annual reports (10-Q and 10-K) with the SEC.
- Participate in the consolidation of global financial statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare statements of cash flow and equity and calculations of earnings per share.
- Preparation and reconciliation of derivative accounting, including supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, assist with performing research on complex accounting and reporting matters.
Internal Controls and Compliance
- Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all financial operations.
Process Improvement
- Utilize financial systems and tools to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving financial practices and outcomes.
- Become a super user of the financial reporting and planning tools as well as the company's other ancillary systems, serving as a resource for training and process improvement opportunities.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Exposure to SEC reporting, including 10-Q and 10-K filings.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneStream).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
What We Value

- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
