  • Project Description:

We are seeking an ETL Developer with BA experience to join our stimulating and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ETL and compatible coding languages (SQL, Python, VBA, etc); as well as investment compliance monitoring. This position requires excellent analytical skills and a self-starting attitude. Exposure to Shareholding Disclosure tools and related applications (e.g., Aosphere Rulefinder, FundApps, Bloomberg, etc) is an asset.
  • Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and optimize ETL processes, executing related tasks such as extraction, transformation, loading, integration, and error handling.
2. Understand market data from sources such as Bloomberg, MarkIT as well as RIMES; and leverage technical skill set to perform complex analyses on large volumes of unstructured data to investigate and resolve exceptions.
3. Gather, interpret and document complex business line information to support decision-making as well as target state employee training, adapting as needed.
4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure developed solutions are duly tested and fulfill specified business requirements.
5. Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of data warehouse and data integration solutions.
6. Provide training to compliance monitoring team, documenting material in a playbook structure.
7. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and technologies.
  • Mandatory Skills Description:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience working with ETL tools (DataStage, SQL/PLSQL), JSON, XML; Database (Oracle).
3. Capital markets experience (i.e. detailed knowledge of derivatives, instruments traded in the space)
4. Experience with shareholding disclosure monitoring investment compliance monitoring (shareholding disclosure, etc.).
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
