Summary:
As the Commercial Product Manager, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive 10-year business strategies for allocated assets. These strategies will encompass scenario planning, product development, customer segmentation, pricing evaluation, and long-range goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop 10- year business strategies for allocated assets in cooperation with cross-functional units.
- Develop strategy to include evaluation of scenario planning for product development, product mix, lifecycle management, customer segmentation, gross to net pricing evaluation, with the focus on securing market growth opportunities.
- Support product supply forecasting through S&OP
- Develop and implement a B to B strategy and plan in cooperation with cross-functional product managers; collaborate with Key Account managers on B to B strategy and implementation.
- Define and achieve long-range business goals for allocated assets tied to customers business plans.
- Develop go-to-market strategy and plan in cooperation with cross-functional product managers; collaborate with sales on go-to-market strategy and implementation.
- Ensure contracts and prices are set to optimize value capture, volume, and profitability in cooperation with Marketing and Sales.
- Lead the commercial business group (Research and Development, Regulatory, and product strategy).
- All other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Turf & Ornamental, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in field sales, sales management or marketing role in Turf & Ornamental related business or a related industry.
- Understanding of the Turf & Ornamental business and commercial and consumer customer base.
- Strategic communicator, good decision making and judgement.
- The position may be remote or preferably Shawnee, Kansas based. Travel 40% + of time.
