La personne recherche sera responsable de fournir des conseils stratgiques la clientle en matire de relations avec les mdias et de marketing d'influence, d'aider planifier des vnements mdiatiques, de diriger l'activation d'annonces et de lancements, de gnrer de la couverture mdiatique et d'encadrer une quipe de travail. La personne recherche possde une exprience qui englobe les relations avec les mdias, les collaborations avec les influenceurs, la planification d'vnements, l'excution de programmes de relations publiques, la gestion des relations interagences ainsi que la consultation stratgique.

RESPONSABILITS PRINCIPALES
  • tablir des relations de confiance avec la clientle et lui fournir des orientations stratgiques pour ses programmes de relations avec les mdias et de marketing d'influence.
  • Proposer de manire proactive des ides et des points de vue la clientle en lien avec les mdias, au-del des relations de presse traditionnelles.
  • Dvelopper des relations troites avec les reprsentantes des mdias et les crateur trices de contenu afin de gnrer de la couverture mdiatique et sociale.
  • Assurer la liaison avec les parties prenantes et les quipes de travail de l'agence afin d'intgrer les efforts de relations avec les mdias dans les campagnes.
  • Travailler directement avec la clientle pour rsoudre des problmes.
  • Superviser les activations et les quipes d'activation.
  • Conseiller, encadrer et dvelopper la relve.
  • Diriger la planification logistique d'vnements mdiatiques.
  • Soutenir l'tablissement d'indicateurs cls de performance pour maximiser l'impact des relations avec les mdias.
  • laborer les plans de dotation en personnel et les budgets des programmes; travailler directement avec la clientle et l'quipe des finances pour faire le suivi des livrables.
  • Mettre en vidence les rsultats, mesurer le succs et promouvoir les gains et les apprentissages auprs de la clientle.


EXIGENCES ESSENTIELLES
  • Expertise prouve en matire de relations avec les mdias, de marketing d'influence et de planification d'vnements :
    • Relations troites avec les reprsentantes des mdias et les crateur trices de contenu;
    • Connaissance pratique des nouvelles plateformes mdiatiques;
    • Rdaction de documents destins aux reprsentantes des mdias, y compris les notes de sollicitation et les communiqus de presse;
    • Capacit d'optimiser les programmes en temps rel pour maximiser le succs en fonction des rsultats prliminaires;
  • Capacit planifier, organiser, suivre et contrler des projets et des programmes, en assurant une utilisation efficace des ressources.
  • Capacit conseiller la clientle en matire de relations avec les mdias et prsenter des plans de manire convaincante.
  • Capacit diriger des quipes.


EXIGENCES DE BASE
  • Six sept ans d'exprience en relations publiques.
  • Diplme universitaire en relations publiques, communication, journalisme ou autre domaine connexe.
  • Capacit travailler efficacement au sein d'quipes interagences et avec un large ventail de parties prenantes.
  • Communication crite et orale de haut niveau, en franais et en anglais.
  • Comptences en matire de ngociation, de prsentation, de collaboration et de rsolution de problmes.

Senior Manager - INTEGRATED MEDIA

POSTION PROFILE

Our Montral office is looking for a bilingual Senior Manager - Integrated Media, who is a seasoned public and media relations consultant responsible for providing strategic client counsel around media and influencer engagement, helping plan media events, leading announcement activations, securing media stories and guiding and mentoring an internal team. The ideal candidate will have experience that encompasses media relations, influencer engagement, event planning, program execution, leadership of the inter-agency marketing mix as well as client counseling.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop strong client relationships and provide counsel/strategic direction related to media/influencer relations programs and related events
  • Proactively bring media-related ideas and points of view to clients to assert agency leadership and push the boundaries of traditional media relations
  • Develop strong media and influencer relationships that can pay off with media and social coverage
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and integrated agency team colleagues to integrate media relations efforts into campaigns
  • Work directly with clients to resolve problems
  • Oversee client activations and activation teams
  • Counsel, coach and develop junior staff
  • Lead logistics planning for media and other influencer events
  • Support the development of KPIs to maximize media relations impact
  • Develop program staffing plans and budgets and work directly with clients and finance team to address related deliverables and questions
  • Highlight results, measuring success and promoting wins and key learnings to client


CORE REQUIREMENTS
  • Demonstrate end-to-end expertise in media relations and event planning, including:
    • Strong existing media and influencer relationships
    • Working knowledge of and comfort executing new media forms
    • Ability to develop new media and influencer relations and turn those relationships into coverage
    • Drafting media materials, including pitches and press releases
    • Optimizing programs in real time to maximize success based on preliminary results
    • Amplification of strategies, including paid, owned and earned
  • Demonstrated expertise in media relations and event/logistics planning
  • Ability to plan, organize, monitor and control projects and programs, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and creative resources
  • Ability to counsel clients on media relations activities and present plans in a convincing manner
  • Strong team leadership abilities


BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Public relations experience of approximately 6-7 years
  • University degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Ability to work effectively with integrated agency teams and diverse range of internal stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, collaboration and problem-solving skills
