Position: Talend Technical Lead

Location: Deerfield, IL

Duration: Fulltime/Permanent Position

Job Description:

• Business analysis skills capable of understanding as-is applications and documenting them properly
• Creating clear and accurate documentation
• Understanding stakeholders needs in detail
• Project coordination capabilities
• Experience engaging with design, QA and development teams during the SDLC
• Excellent communication and effective presentation skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Logical thinking
• Experience with working on Cloud Migration programs
• Nice to have: Experience running tools such as Azure Migrate & Service Map
• Ability to perform analysis of applications for inter-dependencies and potential remediation required
• Basic understanding of Azure and azure infrastructure.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT and Data mining processes.
• Good understanding of UNIX commands.
• Hands on experience on Talend Data Integration and Big Data Suite of software (experience on V7.x is preferred)
• Basic understanding of dealing with data sensitivity in ETL processes (Data encryption, Masking etc).
• Good understanding of securing data both in rest and in transit.
• Good knowledge of Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS and Spark in particular)
• Good knowledge of Structure Query Language, Functions, Procedures and packages.
• Understanding of integrating Talend with Databases (Oracle, MSSQL, DB2 etc)
• Basic understanding of version control (GIT, SVN).
• Nice to have - Knowledge on data processing related Azure technologies (Azure Databricks or Azure HDInsight in particular).
• Nice to have - Working experience of offshore onshore model.
