We are looking for an Electrical Engineer for Clayton, NC. This position involves designing and developing electrical system wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for small construction equipment as part of the BCP Electrical Systems & Component team. The role requires an accredited engineering degree and at least three years of relevant experience. Key technical skills include proficiency in Creo Electrical Harness routing, Teamcenter database management, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Desirable skills encompass FMEA, testing, and validation processes. Strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential. Position Overview

The role involves the design and development of electrical system wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and associated wiring groups for small construction equipment. The position BCP Electrical Systems & Component team in delivering cost-effective and reliable electrical components for a range of small to micro-sized construction machines globally.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and introduce electrical and electronics components and systems in mobile applications.
  • Provide electrical engineering support to product groups for current production and future machine projects.
  • Support manufacturing by providing design solutions for issue resolution.
  • Engage in all stages of the new product introduction process including requirements capture, specifications, FMEA, design, development, testing, validation, and certification.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience Required
  • Accredited engineering degree in electrical, electronic, computer, mechanical, agricultural, or automotive related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in designing and developing electrical and electronic components for automotive, construction, agricultural, or similar mobile equipment industries
