• 10+ years of Solid general knowledge of IT infrastructure
• 8+ years of DBA experience
• 2 year of Snowflake DBA
• Troubleshooting of issues in Snowflake and in Azure
• Scripting to build necessary DBA tool & alerts
• Netezza experience
• Data warehouse Experience
• SQL Tuning experience
• Self-Learning

Represent the DBA team:

• Contribute to the technical solution architecture within Snowflake
• Translate the technical solution architecture into a detailed infrastructure and technology components design, and ensure the seamless integration of all components
• Write a Standard Operation Procedure manual
• Work in collaboration with project managers to define work breakdown structure, estimate project effort and project schedule
• Work with the Netezza DBA and do Knowledge transfer
• Guide various SME through technical design propositions and specifications, and address any potential design or support issues
• Develop and provide knowledge transfer plans to the various support teams
• Present and explain designs/solutions to different stakeholder groups
• Suggest new way of working to user to replace the Netezza features
• Participate and facilitate Security foundation programs (governance, process...)
• Benchmark of workload and testing of existing SQL
• Create tables and views
• Data Sharing and Data replication
• DR simulation
• Managing all type of Snowflake objects and follow the standard
• Optimize SQL
• Helping with the connection using key pair and Oauth where applicable
• Any other DBA work that may be necessary for the project to be successful

Roles & Responsibilities

Integrate solutions with the following technologies:

• Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Security Best Practices Implementation

ASSETS

• Some basic knowledge of the Azure cloud solution
• Some basic knowledge of authentication/SSO protocols
• Some basic knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD
• Some basic knowledge of networking and internet protocols (IP, HTTPS, PKI, Firewalls)
• Strong leadership to bring the team to work and interact with other teams
• Understanding of Database hierarchical security architecture
• Process driven (improve existing team process and build new ones when required)
• Good business relationship
• Good Technical writing
• Good at transferring technical knowledge
