Location: Peoria, IL Hybrid

Hybrid 3 days in office. Flexible depending on daily schedule. Most people start between 7-8:30am and work the corresponding 8 hours plus a lunch break

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively involved with Client facilities and suppliers to analyze product/process designs for feasibility of using existing tooling or modifying designs to improve processes and products.
• Ensures involvement of Engineering, Purchasing, and shop personnel in the approval process to make informed decisions that enhance manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
• Coordinates compatibility of various systems and operations to implement comprehensive solutions.
• Adheres to standards and practices related to quality, cost reduction, safety, and ergonomics.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience Required

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronic or similar) or 15 years' experience in tool and die making.

Technical Skills Required

• 5 years' experience in Tooling Design
• 5 years' experience with Heavy Fabrication
• Ability to travel internationally 30% of the time
• Experience in Project Management

Technical Skills Desired

• Experience in Lifting and Rigging
• Experience in Machine and System Integration
• Hands-on Mechanical Aptitude
• GD&T Experience
• 3D Modeling Experience
• Experience with Work Holding equipment
• Experience with PLC Programming, Robotics, Welding, and/or Machining

Soft Skills

• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Spanish or Hindi Language Skills (desired)

Disqualifiers/Red Flags

Lack of required technical skills or relevant experience

Inability to travel internationally as required

Poor communication and teamwork capabilities
