Model-based control design for power electronics converters and motor-drive systems used in medium-voltage (from a few 100s of Volts to a few kV) and high-power (from 100s of kW up to several MW) heavy electric vehicles.
Modeling, simulation, and analysis of power electronic converters and motor drives.
Develop, validate, evaluate, and recommend optimal control algorithms/solutions to achieve high-efficiency and high-performance solutions.
Experimental validation of the control solutions at component- and system levels.
Define and perform tests and analyze the obtained results, including simulation data and experimental measurements.
Work and collaborate with the hardware and software teams to evaluate the interaction/tradeoff between the hardware, software, and controls.
Create and execute plans to deliver project expectations on time.
Participate and present in internal and customer meetings.
Keep up to date with the latest developments and research publications in the areas of power electronics and motor drives for electrification applications.
