JOB DETAIL:

Integrate into client team and aid the current engineering team in their project delivery efforts. This senior role includes all aspects of project management but includes experience with facility process design. Domain skills to include:
Worked as a Process Engineer for industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Food & Beverages)
Ability to prepare and understand PFD, P&IDs, mass & energy balance calculation, hydraulic calculations
Understand basic chemical engineering fundamentals like heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, mass transfer etc.
Should be able to specify process plant equipment and hands on experience in selection of equipment as per project requirement
Should be able to specify pump, heat exchanger, tank and other equipment independently
Experience in selection of safety devices and process safety management activities
Previous work experience in sanitary piping & process systems would be a plus
Conversant with AutoCAD and MS office application is must
Familiarity with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and any other hydraulic calculation software will be added advantage.

Required:

Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering.
13+ years of significant engineering and / or operational experience.
Technical background in a GMP regulated industry with aseptic packaging experience
Interacts well with diverse groups within engineering and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
Listens to and understands others' points of view and articulates tactfully and respectfully one's own perspective orally, in writing, and in presentations.
Works well with other engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced goal-driven environment.
Possesses interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile differences.
Understanding and management of procurement & contracting processes.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Able to juggle multiple demands and responsibilities.
Preferred:
Experience in food industry
Experience with infant formula process or packaging
