Relevant Experience
(in Yrs):4+ years
Technical/Functional Skills :2+ years' experience in automation (selenium automation preferred)
3+ years' experience in test development and execution
Fintech experience a big plus
Jira, qTest/ALM experience
Highly analytical. Experience testing complex Fintech projects - a big plus.
Intermediate SQL skills
API testing experience a big plusIn-Depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Defect Life Cycle, Waterfall and Agile Methodology
Extensive experience in Quality Assurance Life Cycle (QALC) aspects such as developing Test Plans, Test Cases (Manual / Automated), Defect Reports and developing Test Scripts, Traceability Matrix and Test Environments
Experience in manual testing using user interface and proficient in Black Box Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing and experience in Bug Tracking
Experience working in Life insurance domain is preferred.
Experience using Test management tools such as qTest & JIRA.
Understanding of Software Testing methodologies.
Strong understanding of Agile principles.
Experience Required:6+ years
Roles & Responsibilities:Maintaining and enhancing existing test automation framework.
Updating code/script as per required business changes.
Creates new or modifies existing test scripts, manual or automated, based upon the business requirements of the project or change.
Responsible for planning, creating and Executing testcases.
Executes test scripts to ensure compliance with business or functional requirements and specified quality characteristics and documents the results by recording issues in the bug tracking system.
Follows standardized testing methodology/processes through the entire testing lifecycle of the project.
Works within the defined defect reporting, logging and mitigation processes.
Understands and works within the parameters of the overall project test plan.
Consults with QA Manager and BA Lead regarding testability and criterion for successful performance.
Reviews test results for project and audit compliance.
Adheres to QA Governance practices and advocates this throughout project/change.
Ensures testing meets stakeholders' expectations, and walkthroughs and signoffs are completed.
Develops or participates in the development of project change artifacts for functional area of responsibility.
Ensures that project change processes are followed by functional team members.
Performs impact analysis to ensure feasibility of changes, including estimation and identification of risks, issues, and downstream impacts.
Generic Managerial Skills:Sound communication and able to handle Sr. project stakeholders
Education:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis or equivalent work experience.
