Job Title - Senior POS Techno functional lead

Location - Dublin CA- USA (Hybrid)

Type - Full-time

Job Description -
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
  • Review software documentation (POS) to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, completeness and to mitigate risks
  • Transform client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
  • Lead and collaborate with Hardware (POS Register, Peripheral accessory) vendor in identifying solution and troubleshooting issues and remediate problem.
  • Act as liaison with client, vendor & IT system integrator for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems manage program stakeholder.
  • Lead Vendor assessment and evaluation for identifying and finalizing new products/solutions.
  • Responsible for the overall Assessment evaluation and produce finding to the management.
  • Manage Application Install activities with Partners and other involved IT teams
  • Prepare install plan, execute deployment, and ensure all risks/issues are addressed.
  • Responsible for day-to-day coordination between different stakeholders
  • Monitoring and reporting, alignment to program outcomes
  • Prepare / Manage stakeholders' communication and manage the program documentation


Qualifications include:
  • Experience with best of class Point of Sales systems (APTOS, GKPOS etc.,)
  • At least 10+ years of work experience in relevant in POS consulting services or business environments, implementing POS applications.
  • Profound understanding of Point of Sales business processes
  • Experience in developing rollout strategies
  • Understanding of integration points between POS and other store/head office systems
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others Must be result-oriented and demonstrate a "Can-do" attitude - adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
  • Experience managing/supervising/leading others required.
  • Experience in implementing a POS system. Apparel Retail experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present information to a wide range of audiences, end users, technical staff, department management, and senior management.
  • This person must have demonstrated ability to act and learn on his/her own initiative and execute objectives without day-to-day supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technology stack, technology architecture and co-ordinate solution discussion.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, make key decisions, and motivate others.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Desired Skills:
  • Executed Software Assessment, Vendor evaluation.
  • Experience in Working with Store IT Operations
  • Experience in Working with other business application in store space for example WFM etc.,
  • Experience in IT project management
