Role: Data Modeler
Location: OFL, MO Day 1 onsite
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models for our product development team.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand business requirements to create logical and physical data models
Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry-standard tools and methodologies
Work closely with business analysts, database administrators, and software developers to ensure database systems meet business requirements
Collaborate with the data Architect to ensure adherence to data standards and guidelines
Conduct data profiling, analysis, and mapping to ensure accuracy and completeness of data models
Ensure data models are scalable, flexible, and optimized for performance
Participate in data modeling and design reviews to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
15+ years of experience in data modeling and design
Experience with industry-standard data modeling tools such as ERWin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts such as entity-relationship diagrams, normalization, and data classification
Familiarity with database management systems such as Snowflake and Azure Cloud.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Develop data models including ETL staging models and traditional data warehouse dimension/fact models.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
15+ years of experience in data modeling and design
Experience with industry-standard data modeling tools such as ERWin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts such as entity-relationship diagrams, normalization, and data classification
Familiarity with database management systems such as Snowflake and Azure Cloud.
- Design the data marts in dimensional data modeling using star and snowflake schemas.
- Design scalable logical and physical data-models normalizing data into OLTP/OLAP schema.
- Experience with data profiling, analysis, and mapping
