Title - Manufacturing Engineer - Continuous Improvement
Location - Arlington, TN (Onsite)
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for evaluating and improving value streams at the Arlington site. In this role, the Continuous Improvement Engineer will design lean systems, influence cross-functional teams, and execute improvement initiatives to continuously drive top performance from our production system. Minimum 8 years of experience and strong medical device experience.
Lead value stream mapping workshops
Oversee future state implementation
Evaluate & drive productivity improvements
Monitor & improve lean metrics (lead time, changeover time, inventory levels, etc.)
Design flow systems between work cells
Partner with Finance associates to quantify CI cost reductions
Personally execute improvements
Coach others in Lean concepts
Lead kaizen events
Work closely and collaboratively with members of other teams in a fast-paced environment
Identify root causes of issues, determine potential solutions, and evaluate them against requirements
Follow the company's standards for process development, quality and safety
