We are looking for a Senior DataStage Developer for the Marketing Insights and Customer Conversation Management suite of applications. This position will create/modify the application and environment to meet new requirements.
Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities. Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical developer resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
Required Skills:
5+ Yrs Relevant IT software experience (Technical-Developer) using ETL Technologies
Minimum 3 years of development experience in DataSatge 9.x & 11.7, Metadata Workbench, Business Glossary and other components of the IBM InfoSphere Server toolset.
DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, SQL UNIX/LINUX, AutoSys.
MQ / Kafka
Expertiese in Data Analysis, Data Movement, Lineage Management and Data Provisioning.
Quick learner and self starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment
Deep understanding of the software development process
Strong Written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge in application design & Development
Able to contribute to 1. Automation 2. Causal analysis 3. Develop
shared/common solutions
Able to identify risks and mitigation
Comfortable working in a matrix environment
Prior experience of working with globally distributed teams
Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree
