SUMMARY
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a focus on business operations analysis to join our FP&A team. This role will be responsible for evaluating the financial performance of business operations, identifying process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in learning and supporting operational finance while driving process enhancements and collaborating across departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Analyze operational performance metrics, identifying areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

- Collaborate with operational teams to evaluate the financial impact of business decisions and implement process improvements.

- Lead efforts to streamline financial reporting, operational processes, and increase automation for better financial visibility.

- Conduct detailed profitability analysis by product, service line, or department.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends across the business, providing actionable insights.

- Support cross-functional teams with financial insights during business reviews and strategic initiatives.

- Develop and maintain complex financial models to project the impact of operational and financial changes.

- Assist in building dashboards, reports, and tools to drive operational efficiency.

- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team, particularly around operational processes and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong analytical and process improvement skills, with experience streamlining operations.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).

- Proven ability to work across departments and deliver impactful financial insights.

- Experience with operational finance and process optimization is highly preferred.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or related areas.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

This position requires the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

This position requires the ability to perform statistical analysis of customer shipping information and rate analysis.
