Psychiatrist (Child/Adolescent)- Medical Director Role Available!

Deaconess Cross Pointe, a fully accredited 58-bed inpatient facility, is seeking a BC/BE C&A Psychiatrist to join its growing team. This is a full-time, inpatient position, with a typical 8-hour day (8:30 am-5:00 pm; Monday through Friday). This position will be a member of DCP Medical Staff Leadership which meets bi-weekly to review monthly schedule, in addition to clinical and program issues. Average daily census on the Adult Unit is 26, and the Youth Unit is 12. Youth psychiatric Medical Director role available for an additional stipend. Share on-call responsibility with other psychiatrists. After hours on-call generally occurs once a week (5pm-8am) and triages intake calls, provides disposition and admission orders. 1:10 for weekend on-call with responsibility to triage intake calls and round on inpatients on Saturday and Sunday. An Advanced Practice Nurse works every Saturday and Sunday with the psychiatrist. EMR is Epic and is a shared system between all Deaconess clinics and hospitals.
