We are searching for a hands-on RN / Registered Nurse to oversee our resident care as our new Assisted Living Director / Director of Resident Care / Director of Nursing! This is a rare opportunity to lead the Care Team at one of Salt Lake City's finest luxury Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities. In this role, you'll partner with our Memory Support Director (also a nurse) to coordinate our residents' care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Assisted Living Director / Director of Resident Care / Director of Nursing:
- Oversee and ensure provision of resident care services to our Assisted Living residents.
- Conduct and coordinate the completion of the resident assessment program. Ensure that all essential resident care data, including medications, are properly entered and updated in our resident care database.
- Oversee Assisted Living med techs to ensure appropriate services have been provided and all appropriate documentation has been completed. Our Team Operations Director oversees our care partners and is responsible for scheduling/staffing.
- Within the scope of practice, intervene when a resident is experiencing a change of condition and notify all appropriate parties.
- Assist with the education and training of med techs.
Qualifications of the Assisted Living Director / Director of Resident Care / Director of Nursing:
- Possession of a valid RN license.
- Prefer one year of experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience.
- Prefer one year of supervisory experience in a health-care related field.
- Ability to understand and conceptualize concepts as well as an ability to make decisions in stressful situations.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation with an emphasis on establishing and understanding processes with a strong attention to details.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with seniors, their family members and staff in a caring, compassionate manner.
- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- To reduce risk to our residents and team members, we require all employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and any required boosters.
Work Environment:
- Work Environment: Active hands-on role within our senior living community. Will be required to work in both the assisted living and the memory support neighborhoods.
