As the Sales Finance Analyst, you will provide financial leadership and partnership to the sales organization by providing key analytics and insights to drive profitable and sustainable growth. This role will expose you to many opportunities to make a visible impact and contribute to delivering strategic initiatives. You will report into the Manager, Sales Finance & Planning.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.

What you'll do
As the Sales Finance Analyst, you will provide financial leadership and partnership to the sales organization by providing key analytics and insights to drive profitable and sustainable growth. This role will expose you to many opportunities to make a visible impact and contribute to delivering strategic initiatives. You will report into the Manager, Sales Finance & Planning.
How you'll do it
- Support financial reporting requirements for HQ, with responsibilities spanning across all Divisions
- Support trade management by developing weekly tracking of account promotional activity and provide insight to Strategy/Finance Managers on key changes to promotion activity
- Maintain the Trade Scorecard and ensure it is published on a cadence
- Partner with Sales Finance Managers to manage trade spend; identify opportunities to reduce trade spend and help mitigate trade spend risk
- Be the Trade Pro support for the field, helping with training, pricing issues, etc.
- Lead quarterly Internal Trade Pro Audit process, including developing robust tracking of key measures and work with Sales Managers and Sales Strategy and Finance Managers to correct errors
- Manage internal PO system (KissFlow/JDE) to maintain/update pricing on an ongoing basis
- Support Sales Planning functions as needed, stepping in when team members seek support
- Support annual year-end audit with external auditors
- Support monthly and annual close processes; monthly journal entries to true-up trade spend
- Collaborate with cross functional and internal teams to complete the period close activities
- Manage timely payments to brokers, including assessing current process and identifying ways to improve
You have...
- 3-5 years of experience CPG or food company in a Finance or Sales analytical role preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) required
- Experience with trade management and general ledger systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives
- Ability and desire to partner cross-functionally with internal and external partners to drive results
- Ability to manage time, multiple priorities and handle a high volume of work
- Strong communication skills
