BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team to support AFCEC/CFSD in supporting DLA-Energy onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team to support AFCEC/CFSD in supporting DLA-Energy onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide financial database management and support
- Load, track, report, and reconcile funding documents such as military interdepartmental purchase requests (MIPRs), Air Force Form 9s, returns, and acceptances into project management databases
- Prepare reports that include status of obligated and unobligated funds, pending invoices, and actions using Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Wide-Area Workflow (WAWF), and Electronic Data Access (EDA) systems
- Coordinate and recommend resolutions of funding and invoice issues
- Provide quality control of the CFSD database and incorporate such efforts into database development and process improvements
- Provide training
- Coordinate actions with stakeholders, which may include Project Managers, Contracting Officers, DLA, Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), and Resource Managers
Key Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Government Security Clearance (NACI) is required
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of project data management, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Electronic Document Access (EDA), and MyInvoice
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Software: Proficiency using MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously
Experience & Education
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years' experience performing same or similar tasks is required; minimum five (5) years of experience with DoD, Air Force and DLA Contract Administration and Financial Management practices and procedures is required
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk/climb/kneel/crouch and remain in a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
- Ability to understand the speech of another person, speak clearly so listeners can understand, and talk or hear both in person and by telephone
