Job Summary:
PIC Group has a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager, supporting the construction of a university campus development in Florida. The Sr. Project Manager will report directly to the Regional VP of Operations, and be responsible for providing overall administrative and technical direction for projects of varying size throughout your tenure with our client. The Senior Project Manager primary duties include customer interface, client development, project scoping, estimating, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, safety oversight, cost and progress monitoring, as well as overall project management and data reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is developed and built in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, subcontractors, end users, and all necessary project security.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s).
Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget.
Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
Authorize and approve all purchase requisitions and change requests.
Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, are adhered to.
Interpret all related project policies as required.
Maintain official project log and documentation files.
Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs.
Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
Manage financial aspects of contracts to include fee payment, rental equipment, income and expenses to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with Client.
Assume additional responsibilities as directed by regional management.

Job Requirements:
Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
A thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities is vital.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills that include tact, diplomacy, and influencing are essential.
Proficient with maintaining a professional, business-oriented approach at all times.
Make decisions and recommendations which greatly impact corporate relationship with Client that project a profitable outcome.
Ability to accept project assignments that may require extended long term temporary living arrangements or frequent travel to job sites where overnight travel is required.

Education / Experience:
High School Diploma required.
4-year construction management /engineering degree or equivalent professional training and experience.
10+ years' experience in commercial construction activities, design, finance, and management required.
