It will be Canada's first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when it begins production at the Twin Oaks site in Windsor, Ontario. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for contributing to the success of our organization.

This person will be responsible for:
  • Execution of the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities..
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support in the creation and management of purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
