Purpose/Job Function:
The Director of Parcel Audit Services will develop and maintain structured processes to manage parcel audit services for clients and oversee all parcel audit processes for current and prospective AFS customers. This position also owns the implementation and launch of all new Parcel Audit clients. In addition, this role is responsible for upholding our core values of ethics, engagement, and excellence.

This position does require travel as needed.
Customary Work Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Essential Functions:
- Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze data from various databases.
- Utilize data insights to drive strategic decisions and process improvements.
- Work with IT to develop, own and maintain service products.
- Responsible for new client launches including new account set-up through the first billing cycle.
- Track & monitor client data on all weekly spend, number of shipments, gross savings and AFS revenue.
- Review and complete parcel audit services and initiatives for clients on an ongoing basis.
- Identify and develop best-in-class standard operating procedures and process improvements.
- Collaborate on, and improve the sales process related to parcel audit services, partnering with sales & marketing group to develop effective methods and approaches to cross-sell parcel audit services.
- Customer facing and assisting with closing parcel audit sales process to achieve maximum revenue generation as subject matter expert.
- Monitor and direct implementation of executed parcel services and complete within customer deadlines.
- Develop processes to accurately bill clients for services provided.
- Participate in discovery calls as parcel subject matter expert to address knowledge gaps or questions.
- Facilitator in training or communicating parcel audit services to AFS team members.
- Support analytics development with Revenue Mgt, Technology and Administration groups.
- Provide AFS revenue forecasts on an ongoing basis for management reporting purposes.
- Direct the development of tools and process for sales to effectively sell parcel services to new and existing clients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in SQL coding, NoSQL, and database management.
- Strong analytical ability with sharp attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organizational & problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with others to achieve multiple objectives.
- Computer Literate with macro excel skills.
- Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables in non-standardized situations.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree of Science in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or related field required (or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree) MBA preferred but not required
- 5 years of experience in small package/parcel pricing policies, carrier performance, and solutions
- Leading expert and thought leader in the freight industry
