How your role will add to the story:
The regional Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for the sales performance regarding the business within the region that has been assigned

A day in the life
  • Manages the dealer relationship as the main point of contact and support dealers to always provide customers with an unmatched shopping and ownership experience.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits to assist and provide guidance to the dealers by highlighting potential for improvements to their overall business operations relating to new car, pre-owned, and digital sales.
  • Discuss key performance results and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct reviews and audits as prescribed and support implementation of corrective measures, which includes ongoing monitoring.
  • Weekly regional new and pre-owned sales forecasts.
  • Review data analytics of the marketplace with the intention to be applied towards addressing deficiencies.
  • Gather and report on competitive activities in the respective region.
  • Maintain individual monthly dealer performance statistics and action plans to address operations as well as business deficiencies.
  • Administer and implement all corporate OEM policies and programs effectively and efficiently.
  • Support all distribution and logistics related processes of vehicles.
  • Cascade all business pertinent information as necessary.

Qualifikationen Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits:
  • College diploma or University degree in Business Management or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in consulting or relevant automotive position: preferably with a luxury manufacturer
  • 5+ years of experience with wholesale sales management or dealer service/parts operations
  • Consultative, analytical, and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, presentation, training, and relationship-building skills; Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations and ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base in a timely manner.
  • Territory management and dealer contact experience.
  • Ability to work remotely without direct daily supervision and to frequently travel within the region (overnight travel may be required)
  • Bold, innovative and enjoy challenging yourself.
  • Honest and professional, a strong team player.
  • Big picture thinker, go-getter, self-starter.
