Responsibilities
The physician assistant will be categorized as being on the Dependent Specified Professional Personnel Staff and will be subject to all definitions, privileges, and responsibilities found in the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations pertaining to that category. The physician assistant will assist in surgery under the direct supervision of the surgeon.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's Degree graduate of an AMA accredited Physician Assistant Program required
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, required
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills, required
- Ability to work as part of a team, required
- Ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality. , required
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions. , required
- Quickly troublseshoots and resolves problems, required
- Possesses strong technical aptitude, required
- Competency in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems., required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
