We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Data Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Team.

As a Sr. Data Engineer you will be responsible for processing structured and unstructured data, validating data quality, and developing and supporting data products and will collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal and external, to streamline workflows, automate actions, and aid in optimizing decision-making processes.

This is a hybrid position based three days per week at our headquarters in Lisle, Illinois.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize data processing app on Foundry including Code Workbook, Data Lineage, and Pipeline Builder for data pipelines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement analytics capabilities, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
  • Automate actions based on predefined conditions to streamline the workflow process and improve efficiency.
  • Develop data integration and preparation processes to centralize and integrate information across different personas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration among different personas.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experience

OR
  • Master's degree and no experience

OR
  • At least 3 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experience


Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of Palantir Foundry or similar analytics platforms or cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure is a plus.
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets,
  • Ability to process unstructured data into structured and clean data
  • Experience in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Spark, R, or Java.
  • Knowledge of analytics capabilities, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
  • Familiarity with data integration and preparation techniques, including ETL processes and data lineage.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Agile way of working knowledge is a plus.
