Description

Electrical Engineer - EIT (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.; Portland, OR) : Provide electrical engineering, design, and drafting for wide variety of projects from report stage through design and construction. Write project specifications. Perform construction administration duties such as shop drawing review and construction observation. Participate in strategic planning initiatives. Assist in electrical and building services group marketing efforts. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). #GTM

Qualifications

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field from a college/university or foreign equivalent, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field from a college/university or foreign equivalent, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the experience required, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Electrical design of water and wastewater projects Utilizing AutoCad, Revit, SKM, or Visual lighting design software; Designing low voltage systems including fire alarm, security, CCTV, and card access; Equipment specifications including low voltage transformers, motor control, and switchgear; System coordination and short circuit studies; and Performing technical work from preliminary planning through design construction and project closeout.

Must have a US Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or a certificate of enrollment as an Engineer Intern.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week, depending on business need.
