A day in the life:
The Senior Project Manager uses Project Manager methodology to manage complex, cross-functional project(s) or workstreams of a larger program through the full project life cycle from planning through development, testing, and deployment. This includes project scope, dependencies, schedule, budget and risk/issue management to ensure projects are successfully delivered.
  • Manage overall delivery of 1-2 projects, 1-2 functional dependencies, complex/and or technical from planning to deployment that have a start and end date with clear goals and objectives
  • Manages an agile team from continuous enhancements OR manages an operational/services team for driving ongoing initiatives
  • Unblocks and problem solves with the team where applicable
  • Ensures the project delivers the expected outcomes, supports business objectives, and is of quality
  • Aligns quarterly planning commitments with capacity available on team
  • Ensures the objectives and tasks o of a project are understood, documented, assigned, measurable, and tracked
  • Manages project/initiative budget of <=$1M (actuals & forecast)
  • Owns project related resource management and 3rd party vendor management
  • Develops relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across regions (NA, EMEA, APAC, China) and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timelines and business objectives
  • Provides coaching and guidance to project managers in the program

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years working in technology or related field w/ minimum 5 years of experience in project management and 1-2 years in Program Management
  • Knowledgeable in Project Management methodology with a toolkit to support the overall delivery from planning through deployment (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Managed budget of <=1m capex estimated for the total initiative and financial forecasting
  • Experience in managing waterfall, hybrid, and agile delivery teams
  • Proven track record and experience working in a global company with remote technology teams across different time zone (India, NAM, APAC & EMEA)
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-program environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems and proactively troubleshoot to resolve issues
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and gain consensus in the absence of direct authority
