The System Administrator role is responsible for implementing, managing, securing, and troubleshooting enterprise server and application solutions.
Who YOU are:
- Administrative experience administering windows/Linux server and client operating systems.
- Experienced in managing patch deployment tools to regularly review and apply operating system, hardware firmware, application, and security patch upgrades as needed.
- Administrative experience managing Blade or Rack servers and Enclosures.
- Administrative experience managing VMware ESXi, clustering, vSphere HA, vSphere DRS environments.
- Experience in managing SAN and NAS storage arrays.
- Experienced in administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Certificates, and IIS services.
- Administrative experience maintaining SQL database environments to perform new database deployments, backup and restore tasks, and creating/modifying maintenance plans.
- Administrative experience managing Office 365 Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
- Administrative experience maintaining nightly infrastructure backups.
- Experience maintaining data center racking, power, cooling, cable management requirements.
- A college degree or equivalent certifications in Windows, Linux and VMware fields.
- 2-4 years of experience in a related field with equal responsibilities is preferred.
- Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education and self-development programs.
What YOU'LL do:
- Assume responsibility for daily tickets and project-related tasks consisting of installations, product upgrades, and ongoing troubleshooting support of all physical hardware, virtual environment, storage systems, and applications.
- Responsible for maintaining security system standards and mitigating vulnerabilities while providing on-call support on business-critical infrastructure.
- Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc., in accordance with security standards and project/operational requirements.
- Develop or/and refine infrastructure documentation and diagrams.
- Assume responsibility for addressing escalation tickets.
- Assume responsibility for any system or application outages affecting staff and member services.
- Perform specific and delegated duties, as assigned by management.
