Position Summary
The Holley Electronic Hardware Engineer position performs engineer responsibilities in hardware research and development. These job responsibilities ensure that Holley products and services meet customer expectations, company strategy, and corporate targets. The engineer will be responsible for supporting new product development, new application coverage for existing products, sustainment tasking related to active & legacy products, and validation/testing. The engineer must also work with the team of Holley counterparts within Engineering, Production, and Procurement to ensure all stakeholders' needs are well represented.

Position Summary

The engineer must also work with the team of Holley counterparts within Engineering, Production, and Procurement to ensure all stakeholders' needs are well represented.
Major Responsibilities
- Design robust, manufacturable and cost-effective electronic circuits for aftermarket automotive products. Typical circuitry may include microprocessors, analog signals, motor drivers, automotive communications protocols, DC to DC power supplies etc
- Lead and participate in hands-on activities of design simulation, schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, prototype testing, debug, and validation including reliability, EMC, and RF certification testing
- Design test circuitry to functionally test mass production electronic hardware
- Throughout the lifecycle of various products, diagnose and resolve hardware related problems to ensure product safety, quality and reliability
- Work closely with other teams, such as software engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless integration of electrical hardware designs into the overall products
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus 5+ years' experience in electronics design
- Proficiency in electronic circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, part sourcing and fabrication practices.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer
- Deep understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, signal integrity, and power management
- Very detail oriented
- Self-starter with initiative

- Leadership and Communication skills. Very strong written and oral communication skills and is able to inspire teammates
- C or C++ experience is helpful
