PRIMARY DUTY:
This position leads, manages, plans, and supervises direct assigned staff, programs, activities, operations, and long-range planning related to
city-wide capital engineering goals as stipulated by City Council, city management and the department director.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

city-wide capital engineering goals as stipulated by City Council, city management and the department director.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program, Construction Management, or Construction Science.
- Seven years progressively responsible experience in civil engineering, project management, capital projects and inspection processes.
- At least two years of supervisory experience required.
- Any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
- Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas in good standing
- Valid Class "C" Texas Driver License with a good driving
- Candidates without licensure in Texas will be required to obtain a Texas license within six months.
