POSITION SUMMARY:

The Centralized Services Engineer performs server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.

Participates in "On Call" rotation to take after hour escalated calls, tickets and/or projects.

This position is currently a hybrid work arrangement with mandatory onsite one day per week on Tuesdays. Employees may be asked to come into the office more or less frequently at managers discretion.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Patching Powerhouse:
    • Achieve and maintain a stellar 95% patching compliance across all systems. Stay agile and proactive in keeping our defenses up to date.
  • AV Ace:
    • Maintain a robust 95% antivirus compliance. Your vigilance protects us from digital threats-be our shield!
  • Backup Guru:
    • Ensure flawless 100% backup compliance. Our data's safety rests on your ability to recover swiftly from any setback.
  • License Legend:
    • Conduct monthly audits to maintain 100% licenses compliance. Keep our software shipshape and legally sound.
  • Monitoring Magician:
    • Respond swiftly to monitoring alerts, defaulting to P2 status. Your proactive approach keeps issues at bay before they escalate.
  • Cloud Commando:
    • Master and maintain our cloud systems operations with precision. Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across cloud platforms.
  • Incident Avenger:
    • Act as a point of escalation for incidents from End User Computing (EUC) and Service Desk (SD) teams as needed. Provide expert guidance and support to resolve critical issues promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field
  • 3+ years of directly applicable IT and customer service experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with Cisco Networking. CCNA or CCNP certifications highly desirable
  • Desktop/laptop PCs, enterprise printers, and peripherals required
  • Basic knowledge of networking and cabling
  • Mac experience helpful but not required
  • MS Server 8/12 management/administration
  • Active Directory management, Group Policy, GPO concepts
  • Obtain and maintain certifications as required
  • Must have valid drivers' license with acceptable driving record
