Description:

The Vice President of Compliance and Quality Improvement provides strategic guidance, direction, and oversight of agency-wide performance improvement through data, quality, and compliance measurements to ensure compliance with agency, local, state, and national quality initiatives and requirements. This position will assist the leadership team in implementing and overseeing the organization's performance monitoring and compliance program. They will ensure the organization meets regulatory standards and strives for continuous improvement related to the care, treatment, and outcomes of the individuals served. Responsibilities include serving as the organization's privacy officer, implementing privacy laws, collaborating with department leaders to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, and teaching others to do root-cause analysis and other skills.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Human Services, Healthcare, Clinical, or a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, public health, social work).
  • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in quality management, preferably in a human services or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding healthcare compliance programs in implementing, auditing, and managing compliance programs.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven and recurring success in facilitating multidisciplinary teams.
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in using network database systems and highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel to generate graphs, charts, and tables.
