About the Role:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a trusted partner to senior management, preparing schedules and conducting in-depth financial analyses. You'll manage the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for assigned business units while providing recommendations for cost and process improvements. This role involves interaction with all levels of the organization, requiring a clear and concise communication style to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance individuals.

You are highly organized and analytical, with strong finance and accounting experience. You're a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments, and you enjoy working collaboratively across departments. Your ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial teams makes you a key player in driving financial success.

Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as the finance liaison for assigned business units, providing analytical and budgeting support.
  • Manage the planning and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial reports, including monthly financials, revenue, and expense reporting.
  • Perform advanced financial analysis and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations, including capital planning and overhead allocations.
  • Collaborate on the review and approval of material, labor, and overhead standards.
  • Participate in cross-functional corporate initiatives to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Mentor junior financial analysts, ensuring the successful accomplishment of team goals.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, and participate in physical inventories and fixed asset audits.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in analysis, finance, or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with experience in complex data analysis.
  • Experience in a supplement or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
