We are seeking a Paid Social Manager to join the 1-800 Contacts team to support the implementation, optimization, and evaluation of paid social media campaigns. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining social tactics and standard methodologies, evolving channel-specific creative and messaging strategies through testing, and educating internal teams and clients on campaign and project implementation. Collaboration is a key component in this role as you will work closely with multiple teams, including creative. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, make creative recommendations, and generate actionable insights from performance data.
What you'll do
  • Traffic campaigns across a variety of social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit, ensuring standard processes are followed (Proficiency in Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit a plus).
  • Collaborate with the Social team members to monitor and optimize campaigns on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, providing real-time performance data analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for strategy adjustments based on performance data and evolving market trends.
  • Apply an analytical approach to our campaign planning and management; build hypotheses and test variables, optimize ad spend and drive efficiency.
  • Regularly report on campaign performance, important metrics, and optimization efforts to leadership.
  • Work cross-functionally with the creative team to develop creative briefs, implement channel-specific and promotional campaigns, and provide timely feedback on the performance of these campaigns.
  • Support the creation and implementation of testing roadmaps with ongoing analysis; report on results and insights to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with creative, content, and analytics teams to align messaging and ensure cohesive campaign delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep the company ahead in a constantly evolving digital landscape.
What you'll need
  • 3+ years of experience working in digital media and paid social where you were responsible for social media strategy, planning and buying; maintaining budgets; driving implementation and execution; and leading reporting and optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to optimize social media performance based on metrics such as engagement, leads, conversions, and return on investment.
  • Proven track record of making strong creative recommendations and working with creative teams to ensure channel-specific standard methodologies are followed.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or a related field preferred but not required.
