Clinical Director
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead and oversee all aspects of primary care services across Greater Seacoast Community Health. In this critical leadership role, you will manage a wide array of clinical programs, including our Mobile Health Program, School-Based Health Center, Remote Patient Monitoring, and Referral Management services. Working closely with our Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Director of Quality Improvement (QI) and Population Health, and Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a key role in improving patient access, clinical quality, and the overall health of our community.

As Clinical Director, you will help ensure that every patient receives high-quality, compassionate care, while also contributing to the ongoing development of innovative healthcare services and programs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Leadership: Oversee clinical services and operations, ensuring that primary care staff deliver safe, high-quality care across all sites.
  • Quality Improvement: Collaborate with the Director of QI and Population Health to measure and improve clinical performance and outcomes.
  • Program Development: Work closely with the CMO and COO to implement new programs and services aimed at improving patient outcomes and overall health status.
  • Team-Based Care: Promote and support team-based care models in both our Somersworth and Portsmouth locations, optimizing patient flow and enhancing care coordination.
  • Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure compliance with HRSA, FTCA, and state regulations, as well as maintain our Patient-Centered Medical Home certification.
  • Performance Management: Provide guidance and performance reviews for clinical managers and ensure that all staff meet organizational standards and values.
  • Staff Development: Assess clinical training needs and develop a schedule for ongoing education to keep staff up-to-date with certifications and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Foster relationships with both internal teams and external partners to improve care transitions and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN license required); Master's degree in healthcare or MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on quality improvement and patient care excellence.
  • Experience with healthcare compliance, accreditation, and managing clinical operations in a community health setting.

Hours per Week: Full-time, Exempt
Schedule: Monday - Friday
