Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining Integrated Healthcare Systems. The Senior Interface Analyst will develop HL7 interfaces using Java Script, SQL Orion Rhapsody, Cloverleaf & Merth. Candidates with an understanding of healthcare systems processes and EHR integration with Cerner Millennium and Meditech Client/Server required. Knowledge of reference lab interfaces preferred. Interfaces included, but are not limited to ADT, ORU, ORM and Cerner ESI. The ideal candidate will be energetic, willing to learn and able to handle multiple competing priorities. Candidate will utilize their technical expertise to bring innovation to the department.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze and understand complex healthcare integration requirements.
• Design and develop interface specifications, mappings, and other technical documentation for Meditech and Cerner interfaces to client's new reference lab, utilizing Rhapsody and Cloverleaf respecively, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
• Provides subject matter expertise and works with Product Analysts and Engineers to plan, coordinate, and support the reference lab integration wth client's EHRs.
• Performs gap analyses to identify and recommend interface transformations and create mapping to enterprise-standard dictionaries.
• Participates in validation and testing activities to evaluate results of integration, then report and make recommendations based on findings.
• Oversees and maintains the Document Scoping Workbook, a workbook outlining the mapping, normalization and configuration specifications of documents over the entire enterprise.
• Works with business partners, vendors and other teams to lead and coordinate efforts in maintaining and updating both Interface Scoping Workbook and Document Scoping Workbook.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in the design, build and implementation of interfaces with Cerner Millennium and/or Meditech EHRs required.
• 5 years of experience in developing interfaces preferred.
• Certification on Cloverleaf interface engine (version 5.6 or higher) preferred.
• Rhapsody 6.5 Associate Certification preferred.
• BS - Bachelor of Science Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent field and two years experience, OR, if no degree, five years relevant experience required.
