The Financial Controls and Reporting Specialist - NCA maintains and assists with internal and external reporting, auditing, financial statements, and consolidations for overseas affiliates in Norton Lilly International and Kaptan USA and any other holding company and subsidiaries. Duties include recording of Journal entries for foreign Affiliates and non-controlled entities, production of periodic financial reports, and a maintain the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards (IFRS). General office setting, typically the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work, usually at a computer terminal - with short breaks or lunch period. However, there may be some bending/stooping, reaching above shoulder level, walking; standing; carrying of light items such as papers, books or packages of up to 25 pounds. Should be able to hear and speak clearly using phone/headset to communicate with customers; be able to navigate, view and enter information into the computer.
Controlling:
- Recording of overseas Affiliates and non-controlled journal entries
- Issue timely and complete financial statements and reporting packages.
- Oversee the account operations of overseas subsidiary corporations, especially their control and reporting systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis as needed.
Auditing:
- Assist on coordination with external auditors for the interim and annual audit.
- Prepare reporting package for overseas entities
Financial Reporting:
- Coordinate the preparation of the annual, quarterly, and monthly reports and financial documents for overseas entities.
- Maintain operations of the financial consolidation reporting, including financial reporting system requirements coordination with corporate team.
- Assist on Forecasting process and review monthly variances actual versus budget
Other:
- Assists with miscellaneous reporting tasks as needed to support the operational team.

Qualifications Requirements
- BA/BS in Accounting, Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting, finance.
- Experience with IFRS considered highly preferred.
- Five to seven (5-7) years prior supervisory experience with financial reporting.
- Five to seven (5-7) years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
- Experience in leading annual audit processes with external audit reports.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and strong financial accounting, analytical and strategic planning skills as well as risk management and quantification of risks.
- Experience in consolidation in large multinational organization.
- Deep understanding of accounting concepts related to P&L and balance sheets.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English both written and spoken is desirable.
- Mastery in Excel, Oracle, SAP highly preferred and the ability to quickly adapt to other software platforms.
- Proven experience in a leadership role and executive interaction
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.

- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
