The Product Manager is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline product and account servicing development. A successful candidate must be action oriented, analytical and have the ability to identify process breaks and persuade stakeholders of recommended solutions.
- Determines stakeholder needs and requests by scoping, analyzing or troubleshooting complex business problems.
- Scopes present and long term services by reviewing business practices, compliance requirements and system specifications to enhance the overall business performance.
- Provides factual recommendations to appropriate stakeholder to reduce costs, limit losses, and improve efficiency.
- Assesses market competition by comparing USAuto's products and services to competitors.
- Provides information to executives, SMEs, and end-users by preparing short-term and long-term product forecasts, special reports, and analyses; as well as answering questions and requests.
- Assesses product market data by collaborating with SMEs and evaluating product performance results.
- Executes new products by analyzing proposed product or system requirements while managing deployment schedules.
- Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, servicing, marketing, compliance and all other applicable business units.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling, assigning employees; and following up on the results of the deployment.
- Maintains a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
- Performs other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Process Improvement or related field
- 4 - 6 years of project management, business analysis or operational support experience.
- 1 - 3 years of experience leading large projects and system conversions.
- Excellent grasp of Data Entry, Data Analysis, and Microsoft products (e.g., Excel)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, professional attitude, including strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with all employee levels including business associates and executive management.
Preferred
- PMP Certification
- SCRUM Certification
- Working knowledge of SQL
