Job Description

McCormick Taylor is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager/Manager in the Traffic Engineering discipline with a Pittsburgh, PA market focus in a hybrid work environment.

The successful candidate will serve as Project Manager or Lead Traffic Engineer on projects involving planning, analysis, and design of engineering projects.
Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills. Leads projects meetings and gives technical presentations
Marketing efforts including meeting with clients and teaming partners
Prepares proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for assignments
Independently applies extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas
Mentors and trains supporting staff necessary to complete assignments
Helps promote company fiscal and hiring goals
Assists with employee reviews
Performs invoicing, status reports, tracks accounts receivable, and related accounting needs
Routinely contributes to project and staffing backlog projections

Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
A Pennsylvania PE and/or PTOE license is required
15+ years experience in a similar position or equivalent working knowledge/experience in the field of traffic engineering
Direct experience with PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike design criteria, standards and procedures
Hands-on experience with common traffic engineering software including Synchro, VISSIM, HCS, Microstation
Traffic signal design experience on PennDOT projects
Ability to work on multiple assignments and be accountable for project/task schedules and budgets
Experience and expertise in project management
