Description:
Valley HealthCare System is a Comprehensive Community Health Center that offers services in the north central West Virginia region for mental health, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work in our Morgantown and Fairmont offices, serving both inpatient and outpatient adult and pediatric care. This includes primary care and the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. As a Nurse Practitioner with Valley HealthCare System, one will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage patients. The ideal applicant for this position is one who is motivated, flexible, and able to work with others as a team, as one should have the capability to perform essential duties alongside a team of interdisciplinary professionals. Equally, the optimal candidate for this position is one skilled in taking the initiative to work autonomously by making independent decisions in an often fast-paced and demanding environment.
For this full-time position, Valley HealthCare System offers benefits including a 403(B) Retirement Plan, paid holidays, employer paid short and long-term disability, and life insurance, among others. This position is one that offers a valuable opportunity to not only fight against West Virginia's opioid epidemic by serving individuals working to achieve recovery but to also aid those working to overcome mental health and substance use disorders.
