Job Summary
The Assistant Clinical Director will be responsible for supporting the Clinical Director with overseeing BCBAs and implementing training for all new staff, reviewing performance of all clinical staff on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Monitors 6-7 behavior analysts (leveled system for behavior analyst?)
- Implements training curriculum for all new staff and monitors the performance of all clinical staff on an ongoing basis
- Oversees the designs, implements, and systematically monitors skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programs developed by behavior analyst
- Oversees the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by RBTs and caregivers
- Conducts assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessment, functional assessment, staff performance assessment, functional analysis etc.)
- Maintains a reduced caseload of 4-5 clients
- Reviews, analyzes, and provides feedback to behavior analyst regarding treatment plans period to final submission to Clinical Director
- Ensures treatment plan objectives and client progress are clinically appropriate and procedures to increase appropriate behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors are effective
- Maintains and ensures deadlines for initial treatment plans, re-assessment authorizations, weekly behavior analyst utilization of treatment hour
Requirements
- BCBA
- 3 years of experience in the field supervising
- Experience training staff
- Experience with insurance funded services

- All team members are responsible for preserving the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility. Team members are expected to keep work and common break spaces tidy and to adhere to infection control protocols and policies.
- Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.
- Depending on role, and during the daily course of duties, team members may have to lift, twist, pull or push. Team members must be able to manage these activities up to 60 lbs.
- Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a member of management for proper recording.
