Job Description Overview
The Network Deployment Lead (NDL) will manage multiple customers who have purchased SAP Ariba's Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) solution and will assist those customers enable their suppliers on the SAP Ariba Network. During the deployment, the NDL will help configure the Ariba Network to facilitate buyer and supplier collaboration leading to quicker time to value. The NDL must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage projects deploying complex global supply chain transactions to ensure overall enablement success and satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
Builds relationships with customers and suppliers at all levels.
Align with Account Management on comprehensive enablement onboarding plan.
May act as project manager for cross functional teams consisting of both internal and external stakeholders.
Accountable for structuring projects to meet customer goals and objectives.
Prepares and delivers analyses and presentations to customers outlining expectations, risks, options, project plans, results, etc.
Responsible for understanding key business drivers and managing operational metrics.
Work closely with our partner and Supply Chain center of excellence teams to ensure delivery success
Ensures that all reports and systems are current.
Understands and complies with work instructions, process documents, technology and tools required within the department.
Be responsible for operational results, quality of delivery, and generation of customer references
Demonstrates exceptional problem solving skills
Experience and proven performance leading people in direct team leadership, customer leadership or project leadership role.
Adept at appropriately escalating issues within and across teams both internally and customer facing.
Able to quickly identify project risks and opportunities early in the project and work with a high degree of autonomy to address them.
Basic Minimum Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
5+ years of Supply Chain, Procurement and/or AP Experience
5+ years of Enterprise Business Applications Experience
5+ years of Project Management Experience
Preferred Experience
Experience with customer management (internal & external)
Experience preparing and delivering analyses and presentations
Experience with supply chain management principals and processes
Experience with continuous improvement efforts
Experience managing multiple projects at once
Preferred Knowledge
CPSM or PMP Certification
Working knowledge of cloud (on-demand), Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce/ business networks
SAP Business suite and SAP Ariba solution/product knowledge
Basic understanding of Lean methodologies
Understanding Customer/Supplier interface
