Sr. IT Manager

Job Summary:
The Sr. IT Manager is responsible for the design, delivery, and operations on premise and cloud infrastructure and operations. This position will provide technical leadership, develop and mentor a team of IT professionals, and ensure the quality delivery and operations of core IT services.

Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with key stakeholders to understand business goals and optimize technology landscape to support connectivity, productivity, and security.
• Define and implement the strategy for the Infrastructure Engineering and Operations function.
• Ensure all systems are designed and operated in alignment with information security best practices.
• Manage, coach, and mentor a high-caliber team of technical support professionals and accountable for the technical service and support metrics and KPI's for the organization.
• Create, maintain, and enforce technical SOP's, processes, and documentation for the technical services of the organization.
• Responsible for the technology asset tracking for all infrastructure and end user devices.
• Manage large vendor relationships. Interface, collaborate, and foster strong relationships with business stakeholders.
• Manage technology consulting process between company and clients/owners.
• Lead the scoping, design, development, and support of server, network, cloud and Microsoft 365 cloud infrastructure services.
• Provide strategic input and direction for handling the matters involving our geographically distributed IT systems, while providing simple but effective scalability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with internal and external project team members to develop business requirements, use cases, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate planning sessions with internal stakeholders and service providers to define project scope and determine objectives and success factors for acquisitions and denovos.
• Works on a diverse range of problems, moderate to significant in scope, where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, an understanding of current business and technological trends, and knowledge of organizational objectives and political dynamics.
• Exercises judgment as a seasoned professional with a full understanding of industry best practices and established policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoots a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions utilizing in-depth functional and managerial expertise.
• Develops operational plans for product(s), project(s), or function(s) and works with senior management to ensure that plans are integrated with broader corporate and/or functional strategies, budgets, schedules and plans.

• Hire, develop, and retain top talent to accomplish the team's mission.
• Train other IT staff and provide input on meeting standards of performance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience leading IT infrastructure and service delivery teams.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced systems engineering with demonstrated expertise across a broad spectrum of IT infrastructure disciplines

• Demonstrated ability to lead the successful delivery of large, complex projects involving multiple functions and teams across business and IT.
