The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve clients. Compensation: $85,000+ DOE - negotiable
Responsibilities
Manage own caseload
Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks
Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings
Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks
Qualifications
Must have courtroom experience arguing motions, trying cases, arguing motions, etc.
Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a law firm environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred
