SUMMARY
Responsible for managing the Engineering department and developing all Engineering Associates. To ensure that the Standards for Service Excellence within the Engineering department are upheld at all times by continually supporting and improving engineering services that effectively address problems affecting guests and Associates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversee the day to day operations of the engineering and related departments.
Oversee activities in development and management of department budgets, capital expenditures, preventive maintenance and energy conservation.
Recommend current best methods for economical facility operations.
Ensure regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards.
Support positive relations/interact with Engineering Associates, other departments, hotel guests and external customers (city building/zoning dept fire prevention bureau), vendors.
Develop the department's business plan
Interact with engineering staff, vendors, regional and corporate engineering staff and A&C; communicate and coordinate work from departments.
Conduct Daily Meetings with Engineering associates
