_SOFTWARE ENGINEER: INFRASTRUCTURE

Please note: this role will be remote until restrictions are lifted and then will be expected to be onsite. Local candidates preferred. Software Platform Engineer We are searching for a software engineer who will help roll out a full stack, CLI based software platform. You will use your knowledge of various Linux installation flows to enable a smooth rollout of existing production grade software platform. You will also integrate into a continuous build/integration infrastructure to ensure the reliability of your solution. You will have to work closely with both software and hardware teams to validate, test and document your solution. Responsibilities include infrastructure development, documentation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace. You should have a desire to learn and stay current with industry trends, making process improvement recommendations to the team as needed.
Qualifications: Experience developing a Linux package such as an APT or RPM package 3+ years' experience with standard open-source developer workflows (Git, code reviews) 3+ years' experience with automation using Python Preferred Qualifications BS or MS n Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field 3+ years using Dev and Prod Tools such as Shell, git, Docker, Artifactory, ansible
